So tempting. This is a great deal, its not targeted to highest performance, its by far the lightest laptop at 2.6lbs. For a 16" screen. Has plenty of speed

Sadly this already overheats and constantly throttles CPU speed down with or without dedicated graphics.

So…what's the catch with this laptop? I haven't seen too many Evo platform laptops with 32GB/1TB, a decent screen, and epic battery life under $1100–and this is just 2.2lbs. Why shouldn't I buy this? Honestly, I'd settle for the 16/512 Costco deal if it was available in my area.

The 14 inch is 2.2lbs. The 17 is 3lbs.

I have the 14" and it doesn't overheat or throttle. Faster than my 10th gen i7 XPS 15 with dedicated graphics which easily hit 95 celsius
