I'm just trying to help, and I don't know your exact situation, but here is some info that might be helpful:

Its possible to use international eSIM services like Airalo, which I've found to be inexpensive and reliable for international travel.

Depending on your needs, you can use Airalo in the 2nd eSIM slot of your iPhone. Then If you set your iPhone to only use data from that 2nd eSIM, you can get incoming calls on your primary US number, using the data stream from the 2nd eSIM for the call.

This setup will actually be WiFi calling, not airtime calling. On some US phone plans, this won't trigger international call charges.

Again, I don't know your exact situation, but there could be some possibilities for you with this route. Anyhow, I hope this helps someone out there who only has a dual eSIM phone…

Again, just trying to help…

EDIT:
If you want to know exactly how to do this, let me know and I'll post it a bit later once I'm at my computer where I have that exact "how to" info saved…

1 - Turn ON wifi calling on SIM1
2 - Turn OFF data roaming on SIM1
3 - Set SIM1 as your primary voice
4 - Set SIM2 as your primary data source
5 - Disable the cellular switching

Whenever not on wifi, this setup will piggy back off SIM2 cellular connection as WiFi calling. This also works on iPhone 13 Pro Max using physical / eSIMs

Apple Support mentions DUAL SIM usage here:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT209044

Scroll down to "Learn about Dual SIM status icons"

I hope this help!

Mint 100% supports eSIM. I've been using a 14 on Mint since release.

Did anyone receive the shipping details?
Got mine today delivered when I wasn't home. Was a little worried but it was a small envelope package fit right through my mail slot on the door

Mine is arriving tomorrow. Haven't had the giant size iPhone in years, but my 13 Pro battery life is on the short side and I need more space, so this was a really good deal.

Same. I go to Spain for a couple of months every summer and use a local sim. They're pretty strict over there about cellular and generally esim is only offered to contracts. Guess I'll be stuck on iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Vodafone in Spain allows eSim even without a contract. I just did it. Just go to a Vodafone store and they will help you. They need your passport though.

That doesn't make sense. Wifi calling over cellular data?
Yes it's definitely confusing.

So normally WiFi calling uses WiFi to make calls instead of your phone carrier from your SIM 1. Sort of like VoIP. This is the stuff we all have grown to understand (and use) these past 5+ years.

So in this setup, when you're not in a WiFi network, your phone will connect to the cellular data from the 2nd SIM as its "WiFi" (so to speak) to make calls and doesn't use your normal calling setup from your 1st SIM.

Ok, while it's not technically correct about using "WiFi" for calls, that's in essence how SIM 1 (and the phone carrier of SIM 1) will see it. Maybe its more like VoIP?

In any case, I hope that helps. If not, maybe someone else can step in with a better explanation? It's early and I haven't had my coffee yet 😂

Guys, I got refund for the AppleCare+. It was fairly simple actually. Apple provides instructions for it on this link - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202704

You initiate a chat with them as per the links on the page I provided, selected purchased from third party and Apple will call you. Just tell them you want to cancel it and they will do it without any issues/questions. They issued me a refund of $135 and change. They will either refund to a bank account or you can get an Apple gift card. I took the gift card as I already pay for iCloud+.

Super awesome deal! Total cost for me is now at $1078

2 years ($199 value). Would be interesting to see if anyone got a refund on that partial or otherwise.

Wonder if Apple is looking for an itemize receipt with AppleCare

If you paid in full upfront for your AppleCare plan
Before you contact Apple, please have these items ready:
The AppleCare agreement number. Sign in to MySupport to look up your agreement number.
The serial number of the device that the plan covers. Learn how to find the serial number.
Your original sales receipt.

Think I will just buy it and try to get refund for AppleCare. If no go then I will return it back to Costco. Without opening the package will I be able to get the AppleCare agreement number and serial number?

Can we cancel applecare plus and get refund from apple for this phone?
I wasn't expecting it but was able to get a refund from Apple by following instructions from this page - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202704. They refunded $135 via Apple GC (Other option was bank transfer). Thought you may want to know.

I just called and they offered me $129 back. I choose option 2, which was an email sent to me with instructions of refund payment method. No I did not have to turn on the phone or even open the box. I just gave them the serial number of the phone which was on the back of the box.

***Link they sent me ask for bank account\routing number so it will be credited there.

Anyone else still seeing "order received"? At checkout website claimed it would arrive yesterday. Ordered at 1:50PM EST and called Costco and they claimed system is looking for more stock of iPhones.

Do you happen to know or are you able to see if it would then allow you to add the AppleCare plus through the monthly option?
