I own one, and I own the worx brand and Kobalt brand… they're not that good. Of all, the worx brand works the best and I bought it on eBay as a refurbished for about $40-$50 with the battery/charger. They just don't have the power to rinse the soap and and crud off your car in the amount of time one should hope for. It's neat for say… rinsing off after the beach, or during camping (in shower mode) or rinsing off a patio set or spraying the kids during a water fight. Outside of that, unless you absolutely need one… I'd hold off. I think all the positive reviews on these things come from that fact that they're cool.

I bought this pressure washer about a month ago during the last sale. I used it to wash my car maybe three times. I really like it. I can get a 5 gallon bucket and wash my SUV. It is not at all comparable to a full blown pressure washer. I also own an electric corded Ryobi and it is much more powerful. But this Sun Joe is so portable and easy. It is much faster than pulling the full size washer, a power cord and untangling the garden hose.
I'm in Midwest so it's super useful in Winter. No way I'm unpacking the hose to wash the salt off. With this battery powered washer it's super easy.
It will absolutely not wash concrete or tough dirt. It is not likely to be useful for a foam cannon.
So if you understand the purpose and do not expect magic power, this little device is great for the discount price. I do also have a chainsaw with another 4a battery so it helps. But the 2a battery is enough for me to wash one car or quickly rinse two cars.

Same experience here. I wasn't sure how useful this would be, but I found myself using it for quick cleanings and projects in the couple months that I've owned it. I wouldn't consider this a must have, but it is convenient.

I bought this last year to rise pollen and dirt off a porch with no outdoor faucet/hose nearby. I just fill a bucket with water and it works flawlessly for that purpose.

Do you still have to hand apply the soap with that one or can you put soap in a bottle and attach, apply soap then switch water source to water?
We added soap to the bucket of water that it draws from when we washed out a litter box. Worked great that way.

I've got one of these and I use it to rinse salt water off my boat trailer or to rinse off the kids and gear after a trip to the beach. The high pressure setting is not even close to a real pressure washer, but it does a decent job for what I'm using it for. I probably use the showerhead setting more than the high pressure settings. My favorite part is the detergent mixing bottle. I put salt away in it when I spray down the trailer.

I the detergent bottle broke and sunjoe got my a replacement really quickly for free. I did not expect that.
Are you able to adapt a 2L soda bottle like the Ryobi for the water source? Would like to get 2 so have in my cars and just rinse my vehicle before it hits the car wash tunnel. P

I'm not sure. I haven't tried it. Usually I just keep a 5 gallon bucket and drop the hose into that. If you can find a 2L to hose thread adapter it might work. It definitely fits hose thread

350 psi isn't going to do much. Probably best to use in areas what needs a quick rinse and doesn't have access to a water supply.
You, literally, just nailed the use case for this...

I got the Ryobi version and love the eco system. Why buy things one here, one there.

That's a false rating. That's only at initial discharge. Based on .6 GPM it's probably more like 150.

You have to buy the adapter. They are $10 at the store or a 5 pack for $10 on alliexpress. They are universal quick disconnects, so any bottle adapter for any manufacture will work.

All these are false ratings. A garden hose is 40-50psi (maybe 80psi with gods gift to city water). Ant no way these 300-600 psi units are putting out much. The only match i can see is the orifice is so small that the max it can do is .6gpm at 300 psi. While a 50psi garden hose is at 40-50 gpm and restricted down to .6gpm, is still only 50psi. Even the 600psi brushless is not carving water melons.

Think the best way to put this unit into perspective is an adjustable water nozzle can pump out between 150-250 psi. It does has it uses. Realistically it's meant to clean an area that doesn't have access to a water supply.

I have the Kobalt 40v version which pumps out 600 psi. I use it to pump bubbles out and a quick rinse when I don't feel like dragging out my water hose to the front of the house. For the price I paid for that ($40), I think it's was worth it for my uses.

No, I got Ryobi foam blaster separately and it works awesome. https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com.../RY3112FBA Remember, any other foam canon won't work with Ryobi powerwasher. It has a specially designed foam blaster.

Got on last round. Shaved off the wings of the connector a bit so i could have a stubby for working in the garage. Also got a $3 bottle adapter from aliexpress so i can use 1-2L bottles.

Yes a 600 psi brushless would be better, but if you are using a 5 gallon bucket for a source, the 600 psi is going to drink it in 2 minutes.

Ive done 4 rinseless washes with it, and only gone down 1 bar on the battery. Mind you thats only about 10 gallons of water though...

Soak her down
big red sponge
soak her off

I havent tried doing a spot free rinse using DI water yet, but i know it would take well over 2 gallons.
My 600 PSI Ryobi one is rated 0.7 GPM. Means, a little over 7 minutes of runtime from a 5 gallon bucket. Good enough to pressure wash one average size car/SUV
