Hisense may have fixed it via firmware update. With costco return policy, it might be worth a try.
Regarding the 4k 120, it works but you have to sacrifice a hit to the vertical resolution (the TV halves it), or downgrade the chroma subsampling losing some color information. I use it for doom eternal 120hz mode, and would for that or similar games that are already taking a hit to resolution to reach 120hz, but don't use it for any of those "40hz in 120hz container" style modes Sony has been toying with as the loss in image quality doesn't make sense. It does suck that companies including others are advertising 4k/120 with these kind of large unadvertised compromises, but I still get some use out of it.
