If you have a baby or will be and you hike, get a Poco Plus now. Its a great price and you will not regret it. We use ours all the time, not just for hiking. Beats the hell out of a stroller...IMO

I'm also looking at these two since I started mountain biking. The Manta looks nice and has that trampoline vent in the back. But I think it's too big if a day trip includes city exploring (looking like a ninja turtle lol), in a crowded bus, etc. I think the Talon 22 is the perfect size for hiking, biking, or just walking around town. Too bad they changed the graphic in the back - from a sharp talon to a table saw.

Does the frame on the Manta make a big difference? I'm torn between the Talon Pro 30 (frameless but has an injection molded back panel for rigidity) and the Manta 34.

This bag is amazing for my every day commute.... If I bike, it holds everything I need for the day. When I drive, it is still a great laptop bag.

I just bought Daylite tote and haven't used it yet but it seems perfect. Previously I was using an aphelia that I LOVED but I needed something I could hand carry easier and bonus points for passthrough. It holds as much as my larger (in liter size) aphelia.
