Tenergy AA AAA Rechargeable Battery and Charger Combo TN162 8-Bay Smart LCD AA/AAA NiMH/NiCd Charger + 8 AA & 8 AAA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IDPVABW
All I can really see is claimed recharge cycles. found this comparison between the two:

PS: I own plenty of both brands currently. Also EBLs but those are rechargeable Li-Ion.
Not really sure… imo Tenergy is a Chinese company so they're Chinese batteries which are probably not as they claim. Eneloops are arguably the cream of the crop when it comes to batteries and made in Japan. I just trust them more but to each their own

With that said, I've never heard people compare Chinese-made rechargable batteries favorably to the Japanese-made ones. Fair or accurate, that's the perception people have.
*All the standalone packages that I've seen have been MiJ, but IKEA also sources MiC batteries for their solar panel products, most likely because logistically it's far easier to keep the whole manufacturing process in China for those products. I've also heard rumors of IKEA sourcing MiC batteries for the standalone boxes (and labeling them as such), but I haven't personally seen this at the store I've been going to for the past few years.

You don't want fast charging on your rechargeables
Why not just buy the AAAs separately? I've just started stocking rechargeables and genuinely curious.
Edit: yep I see the difference. That's what I get slickdealing at 1am lol
Your listing is 8 AA & 2 AAA.
The post's listing is 10 AA & 4 AAA
Simply looking at quantity, 14 vs 10 batteries. If you need the spacers I can see how the Eneloop set could be more valuable but personally haven't had a need for C or D batteries in forever.

There's also the Eneloop Pro version that have high capacity, but they're only designed for higher demand devices as they have less than 1/4 the charge cycles as the non-Pro. The Eneloop are reliable too, all my Sanyo Eneloop are still going strong and I'm pretty sure they're over a decade old. The Sanyo Eneloop AA's I have say 1900mAh, the newer Panasonic Eneloop increased the charge cycles and capacity by a good amount — I have yet to have any issues with either.
Because I still want a pack with those AA just not that many
That's a regular occurrence with Amazon, it's like a flea market up in there. Legit stuff mixed in with a shit ton of knocks offs, returns, refurbs sold as new, etc.
I have the Tenergy rechargeable RCR123a they work great with my surfire high output led lights, August smart lock and ring door sensors. I put eneloops in all my remotes. 6-7 years no issues at all.

Get an advance charger with refresh function will make your eneloops last even longer.
I would go with a smart charger.
