No. This is a prequel to the original ff7. It originally released on psp back in the day. They just remastered it for newer consoles. The main character is Zack Fair.

I don't know. This looks more like a souped-up HD remaster with updated controls vs. VII Remake from the reviews/videos I've seen. Seems like nothing about it other than the controls are from the ground up and polished VII like remake. Doesn't help with people saying Zack's new voice is cheesy as hell.

Waiting for this to get even cheaper really.

You bringing other games into this doesn't make any difference for this game lol.

They were rebuilt, this is the same crisis core game with more stuff on top. I swear you're the only one calling this a remake when every review calls it a remaster.

Good play through. It's very linear, but you have to remember this was a PSP game. Don't think of this in the same way as the FFVII remake. Still a fun game, and adds more storyline to the FFVII experience.
