I love this game and have played it on a couple systems. I hate to do it, but DO NOT get the switch version. I just don't think the switch was built for it.
-draw distance is like 20 feet
-flora/fauna will intermittently just load in/load out
-maintaining 30 fps just doesnt happen
-stutters/drops frames when digging/adding ground
If you never played it on pc/xbox you may not notice these things as much, but I couldn't get past it
Great price! I don't think I've seen it this low yet for the switch. Wish it was this low a couple weeks ago when I bought the digital version. I could have saved on storage space.

I got it for $20 for physical at target around black Friday but this is the lowest I've seen since then so I feel like it's a good deal

No but in researching I read the same. Also, apparently switch had to make several other concessions as well, including multiplayer. I almost bit on this cause I play switch while my Xbox and ps4 collect dust, but I just can't buy this on switch while owning the other consoles
Most games on the Switch sucks unless its like Mario or Nintendo made, or so it seems, Overwatch 2 is barely playable, was able to get it to play a bit better with a higher end microSD card, hope that helps

Call it morbid curiosity or whatever, but I genuinely am fascinated by what developers are able to achieve on the little hybrid that could.
So what I'm wondering is, as someone who sincerely appreciates the time & effort dedicated to running a game on a system that has no business running it, is this port a passable version (and for clarity's sake, I'd qualify Witcher 3 as meeting this standard)?
