Almost bought the SXK50 for $200 yesterday, which is probably absolutely just as good (or equally overkill) for home/work from home use: https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Tr...7e17e03685
Note they do have a two pack of the 750 line - RBK752 - for $280, which is also a good deal: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086HJX..._tit_
The only issue I ran into was a printer that was previously set up with a WPS button on my old Netgear Nighthawk, which this Orbi Pro does not have, but I was able to sort through that.
If you rely on WPS for many devices, maybe pass on it.

I have so many devices on 2.4ghz it will be nice to have something dedicated now.
Can you buy two sets and connect them if necessary? Seems cheaper than buying one and an add on a single separate.
Any thoughts on other products that are better at a lower price than the Orbi (Eero Pro 6+ at just over 400 is a target for me) but really open to a solid, reliable product.

It worked well, never had any issues with it, but it is 6 years old now, and I have 1GB internet now
Time for an upgrade (I also now have a few computers with wifi 6)
I bought the NETGEAR Orbi Pro WiFi 6 Tri-Band Mesh SXK50B3 (which is the router with 2 satellites as a kit for $299) then I bought an extra SXS50 (for $99)
I just replaced my old Orbi system, router and satellites all in the same places, my download speeds went up noticeably in all locations. Signal to the end points are better too.
For me this was worth it. Better the whole way around.
I only had one issue with setup was trying to get the extra satellite I bought to sync, took 3 tries, but then it worked. Updated all the firmware to the newest and all was good.
Firmware is updated and constantly power cycling them does not fix the reliability problems so I'm moving over to ASUS mesh routers instead.

Also beware each time you change the setting, the network tends to take a while before it regains the stability. Sometimes it may take 30 min to an hour. But once it finds all the devices it'll likely stay on it for good. it really depends how intense your neighborhood wifi.
