I've had 2 Vornados that died while under warranty; usually 5 years. You email them the fan info, cut the cord and a new one gets mailed to you. No hassles.

For those who wish to use this fan with a smart plug. Be aware that the fan won't turn on with the last setting you had it on.

I recommend the bed bath and beyond model. That one has a physical knob, so when you turn on the smart plug the fan turns on at its last setting. It shows oos now, but whenever it comes back u can do the 20% off coupon to bring it down to this price.

Vornado products are awesome and their aftersale service/support is even more awesome and commendable. We only buy Vornado products when it cones to fans and space heaters. Highly recommended.

Great deal for these fans. Like OP mentioned, they are rarely found under $90. In for 2 for the upcoming summer season.

We've had this 660 pretty much on nonstop for like 5 years in our bedroom. Outside of the (yearly?) cleaning, and the occasional power outage - which, because of the buttons, won't come back on automatically like the ones with the manual dial. But otherwise no complaints.

Am I crazy or is $80 an insane price for a fan? Is there something special about this fan? I got a digital thermostatic fan/heater combination with timer functionality for less..

They're extremely quiet when not on the highest setting and move a ton of air. They're an air circulating fan that creates a light breeze everywhere in the room.
