One minor detail to add: this does have Thread, but does not support Matter.
If you don't know what Matter is (in the context of home automation and/or HomeKit) then it probably doesn't mean much to you.
Only the newest (3rd gen) 128GB AppleTV supports Matter. If you don't care, then this is the model to get.

Not bashing the product, but just raising some questions that some people might have. I figure if you have a 4K TV, you most likely already have the app built in.
