I have had one of these for a few years now.

I have it outside between my garage doors with a big "PACKAGES PLEASE" sign and most of my smaller FEDEX, UPS and USPS packages make it in the box and out of the wind and weather.

The only (maybe) problem is if the kids sit on top, the lid latches and then my mail lady doesn't know she has to pull hard on it to open it.

I use for the same purpose, the lid is indeed difficult to open when snapped shut as there is nothing on the base to hold against so unless the box is full and heavy , lifting the lid ends up lifting the entire box.

My solution was to fill the latch with hot glue. I can easily remove later if I decide to and the hot glue is 100% weatherproof.

Many inexpensive and durable metal signs available on Amazon, the one I purchased fir $5 is not currently available but here is link to get you started.

For those using as porch delivery boxes, there are alternative options that are larger and similar priced (30 gallon deck boxes). Sams club has a keter version that goes on sale from time to time and this amazon version [amazon.com] is a good option as well.

This seal well enough for storing pellets outside by a smoker? I typically keep the pellets in the bag they came in in the garage. Just looking to toss the bags in this outside and keep them close by the pellet grill.

I bought this. I was not at all impressed by the quality. The plastic is think and weak. You just press it together, and mine barely holds itself together.
