This sure comes with a lot of asterisks and a ton of salt, but it is a very useful quick comparison.
Pros: super light weight, great battery life, snappy
Con: nothing glaring so far

11th gen is more energy efficient, 12th gen has a power boost because of increased clock speeds, but run hotter, consumes more energy, and to actually have the M1-rivalling performance, needs to be plugged in. Otherwise the performance increase its not as enticing, while the worse battery life and the increased price doesn't help the value proposition.
