I have a L5 series from this company and I love it. My biggest issue is with my ALR screen and trying to get it to stop rippling with the changes in seasons.

This projector goes to 120-130 inches. It's definitely not for everyone due to the light control requirements. But at that size you cannot get a comparable WLED / OLED for a reasonable price.

Yes size matters, but only until a certain size me think, because we could adjust the distance to TV. For 110 inch size, I would probably have to sit further away just to relieve my eye strain. For a typical family room seating, 85" is more than enough for the size in my case. Hence, for anything 85" and above, I would pursuit quality.

Huh? I have 2 of their TVs, a 65" U8g and a 55" u8h and both have a picture quality as good as any of the other brands' top tier TVs. rtings seems to line up with my findings as well. I quite like the google OS as well.

This is very true. I've heard a lot of pixel shifting 4K projectors are not as good looking in contrast versus 1080p counterparts.
however, my px727 ViewSonic had amazing contrast and I was able to get rid of my two other 1080p Optima and benq projectors. ( I can research Which models I bought I just can't remember at hand. They were like $700 1080p projectors then - like in 2019)

I bought this during holiday sales for $1799. This is a banging deal for a great projector. Projectors are not for everyone...you sacrifice contrast for a big-ass immersive experience. Also factor in an ALR screen if you intend to watch it during the day with lights on.
