Just finishing up the 2.2lb tub of this creatine now. Mixes very well and is completely tasteless. I put the 5g in my first cup of coffee every morning and it dissolves 100%. I paid $47.04 for it in October '22 ($21.38/lb)

I went back through my order history for what I've paid over the last couple years.
Paid $12.23 for 1kg in July 2019. $5.56/lb.
Paid $17.27 for 1kg in April 2020. $7.85/lb.
Paid $38.48 for 1kg in October 2021. $17.50/lb

Ordered the 1lb tub from BULKSUPPLEMENTS on amazon instead. Had a $2 coupon to make the total $22.21 after tax and s&s discount. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E9M4XFI
Thanks, but there's surely no way the regular price is $59.99 for 1.1 pounds? Is this $22 even a sale price, or the regular price?
Junk price. I purchased this on 2/26/23 for $24.50. No one should be paying $60/pound for Creatine.

On a side note - trying to quote someone on Slickdeals never works right for me

I have no idea what the avg price is of this product but I purchased 2.2 lbs of this product for $44 at the end of November last year. It was supposed to be a good price. This appears to be a good price based on that. Obviously not good if basing price on pre-2021 prices.

It is crazy though, I paid Amazon a buck under this for twice as much (exactly $21 for a full kilo) back in 19. Inflation over the period is 17.2%, so I don't know how this has a 100% increase.

Guess we'll see what papa Powell says today...

To add to previous posts:
Bought in March 2022 for $38 and in July 2022 for $26.

So the price is OK for the $60 alleged regular price is BS.

FWIW, I purchased this on a S&S for $32 in November 2022.

Protein/creatine/supps in general are super YMMV these days...

Go onto Google type creatine, followed by ncbi then read actual medical documentation about creatine. Unless you're just looking for bro-science

https://www.strongerbyscience.com/creatine/

"It's pretty well-known that creatine supplementation increases muscle storage of free creatine and phosphocreatine, thereby increasing body weight, strength, and sprint performance. However, there's a lot more to creatine than water retention and helping muscles create ATP during intense exercise, and there are a lot of questions that continue to be asked. Creatine affects a wide range of tissues, including the brain, the bones, and the lungs."

No, this is probably the one supplement everyone should be taking every day.

Not "just" but one of the effects is hyrdating muscles, which seems like a positive effect. I hate dry steaks as much as the next guy.
