Just finishing up the 2.2lb tub of this creatine now. Mixes very well and is completely tasteless. I put the 5g in my first cup of coffee every morning and it dissolves 100%. I paid $47.04 for it in October '22 ($21.38/lb)

I went back through my order history for what I've paid over the last couple years.
Paid $12.23 for 1kg in July 2019. $5.56/lb.
Paid $17.27 for 1kg in April 2020. $7.85/lb.
Paid $38.48 for 1kg in October 2021. $17.50/lb

Ordered the 1lb tub from BULKSUPPLEMENTS on amazon instead. Had a $2 coupon to make the total $22.21 after tax and s&s discount. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E9M4XFI

Thanks, but there's surely no way the regular price is $59.99 for 1.1 pounds? Is this $22 even a sale price, or the regular price?

Junk price. I purchased this on 2/26/23 for $24.50. No one should be paying $60/pound for Creatine.

On a side note - trying to quote someone on Slickdeals never works right for me

Creatine has gotten so expensive in recent years. This is almost double that I used to pay. Make sure to drink plenty of water and you may need more than 5G depending on your weight/size (muscles etc)

creatine and many other supplements skyrocketed. this is a cheap price, has steadily gone down since i last ordered in Nov & Feb, this is cheapest so far.

thanks for the post.

thorn in my side is still Optimum Nutrition protein that used to be $50 "regular price" a jug and is now $85 "regular price"...waiting for that bubble to burst too

It is crazy though, I paid Amazon a buck under this for twice as much (exactly $21 for a full kilo) back in 19. Inflation over the period is 17.2%, so I don't know how this has a 100% increase.

Guess we'll see what papa Powell says today...
I work in the supplement industry and the price of bulk creatine has increased almost 3x since 2019. Packaging and tolling have only modestly increased in that time.

Few things are more depressing than just how much the price of creatine has gone up. Like, come on. Can't there be ONE DAMN THING that i don't have to catch feelings about buying.

Creatine combined with glycerol or a preworkout that includes glycerol = massive pumps at the gym. Better yet, find a preworkout that has creatine in its formula. In my experience, even the best preworkouts only include 2.5g of creatine per scoop, so unless you are double scooping, its better to have some separate powder so you can reach the recommended daily dose of 5g

This is the everyday price. I buy it regularly. Definitely worth the money but not a slick deal on this product.

You can get 20 kg (44 lbs) whey concentrate for $311 from bulksupplements.com or eBay themilkywhey. Or up to 50 lbs whey isolate even cheaper from eBay New World Nutritionals

Cheapest 1 kg creatine is from Micro Ingredients on amazon, followed by bulk supplements and then nutricost. But I don't care what these companies say inflation does not equal a doubling in price overall

🤔
I take 10 g creatine a day, you notice that big of a difference using it with glycerol vs just creatine? Might have to give it a try if so

Creatine is more of a long haul supplement and should be consumed daily for maximum efficacy. Glycerol is great for taking before the gym because it helps you retain water for around 4 hours, but the effects are temporary. Not too sure on long term effects, but it can't hurt. And if getting massive pumps at the gym helps you stay motivated or train harder, than the placebo effect might actually help in terms of tangible results

Go onto Google type creatine, followed by ncbi then read actual medical documentation about creatine. Unless you're just looking for bro-science
I just searched Google and NCBI lists numerous benefits of creatine, even outside of bodybuilding. It's not junk science.
