Blackstone 4-Burner 36" Griddle Cooking Station with Hard Cover https://www.walmart.com/ip/1347629739

Isn't this a better buy at $279.00 with the top cover? Or is this basically for those who don't want/need the cover and prefer the front shelf attachment?

I already own the Walmart one. Which leads to my next question - does anyone have a hinged cover for the 36" griddle they would recommend? Most of the stuff I come across looks like thin sheet metal with a heat resistant powder coating. I was hoping to find something with a thicker material. Suggestions would be much appreciated!

Love my Blackstone and can't recommend them enough.

Any experience with how this holds up to ocean air? Considering for my beach house, but don't want a rust bucket after a season!

What's the difference between this one and the one below? Yours is an original price of $499 but this one is $327.

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Blacks...hbdg=L1102

Thanks!
Upon researching, it appears the originally more expensive one has the "improved omni plate griddle for more even heat" The images show that the heating surface is even versus the cheaper model that shows bigger outside heating areas.
My question is which is better. The "cheaper" model actually has a heavier weight and slightly smaller dimensions. It also appears the "cheaper" model is in stock around me but the other has to be shipped.

I live 10 miles from the coast and don't have any rust issues with the Blackstone. Just make sure it's seasoned well.

It's not giving me free shipping. It's trying to charge me $49.

Anyone know how to get that taken off?

I ordered mine this week, and it was delivered yesterday. The box was all beaten to sh*t, the grill inside it was damaged (dented on the front, flakes of paint falling off), and it felt cheap all around. I was going to return it in-store and write off Blackstone altogether, but then I went to Costco and found an upgraded version for $399. Better lid (domed and hinged), better knobs, an accessory tray on the front with a bottle opener, and even better packaging. It seems like Blackstone produced a bottom-of-the-line product just for Walmart. I'll pay the extra $120 for a better grill that doesn't look like it has fallen off seven trucks and comes with the Costco return policy.

What is the model # of the one with regular price of $499? My local store had one at $279, it was model 1863 that had regular price of $327.

Hardly a slik deal... The 4 burner from Sam's with stainless construction is 199...
I am a little deterred from purchasing this based on the reviews about packaging and damaged parts. I see the one on Sams website and it does look good but showing $230 for me. Is it 199 in store or is that a previous sale price

2177, and according to BS customer service, not currently in stores. Can confirm it's the newer, 'upgraded' model with omnivore. Used mine last night and worked awesome in 40ish degree F weather

YMMV, but mine arrived in 24 hours and 100% undamaged. Didn't feel cheap at all, if anything I was impressed with the quality given the price.

The inconsistencies is what's keeping me on the sidelines. I know it's more money but I've got my eye on the Traeger flat rock... that thing is built like a tank.

Last time I saw it was 199 in store ... It's so much better than Blackstone, but of course you don't get the Blackstone logo.... for some people that actually matters

Serious question, I want your thoughts. I was waiting for a deal on a good weber 3 burner steel model with side burner. Now seeing this and all the positive reviews, makes me wonder. If one were to choose either a weber grill or this one? which one? I know they are different but consider that I don't have money or space for both. And whichever I pick will be my only tool. Would this do what weber does? to some level? TIA for your thoughts.
I have this griddle and have no need for grill. I sold my egg and uni as they were no longer needed. Hope thi helps
