Absolutely ridiculous that a company offering pre-orders for an item available on 5/12 is slating deliveries for 5/15. You don't think people who are pre-ordering an item want it at release? If it was delivered 5/13 I would understand and live with it even thought its available everywhere else INCLUDING online retailers on 5/12. But 5/15 is disgraceful and wrong
Crestfallen as well, won't be able to play on launch and over the weekend. But pretty understandable, Super-shop doesn't have local distribution stores like bestbuy/gamestop. Looks like its just Florida is their main one.
Which explains the $10 discount code to entice people to buy from them over other places.
Folks like me who will be receiving their preorder well after the release date (my order STILL hasn't shipped) should be downvoting this post. This hit the front page with +170 votes, and I think most would rather have the game on the release date for an extra $8, which is basically the only difference at this point from purchasing from other vendors.
This will be the only time I purchase from this store. My label was generated Monday and they have still yet to ship the afternoon before launch day. I'll be lucky to receive it on the west coast by the end of next week at this rate.
I'm in NY and the parcel still hasn't moved. Going to buy from Target as I'm leaving on vacation next week and doubt it will be here before I head out.
When did everyone order? I pre-ordered near the end of March and I don't see movement yet. Sounds like some people ordered this week and have already shipped tho.
I ordered April 14th and for almost 24 hours now my most recent update has been "In Transit from Origin Processing - Arrived at USPS Regional Origin Facility - Opa Locka, FL". Expected delivery is 5/15 for a game that releases on 5/12, what a disgrace. Supershop is not qualified to offer pre-orders on physical goods. Were they literally unaware people pre-ordering something want it at release? Or at least like the day after release? If they were all being delivered 5/13 we'd accept it with minimal to no complaints but 5/15 or later is ridiculous

I agree with everything you said. I pre-ordered 3/25, and my "shipment" has been "Shipping Label Created" since Friday (5/5). I was fully prepared not to receive my copy until 5/13, but at this point, I may miss the entire weekend.
Also, this reply from an apparent customer service account is entirely unacceptable:

Nevertheless, it was never explicitly promised that the items would be delivered by May 12th.

Looks like mine is ahead of yours and may be shipping out in reverse order meaning most recent orders going out first. With me showing 5/15 expected delivery there's about 0% you're getting it this weekend unless you purchase locally and return your copy to Supershop
I'll be buying locally at full price and just returning the discounted copy back to super. It feels wrong to return the super copy to the local store, basically forcing a local retailer, at no profit, to make up for super's bad planning.
Of course, by marking every order as "shipped" a week before actually shipping anything they prevented anyone from cancelling their orders so we have to go to the trouble of returning it.

The problem is not only are you paying full retail price for the game, but now you have to pay for return shipping. Plus SuperShop seems to be a poorly run operation, so you'll be at their mercy for processing the return. You may very well end up having to do a chargeback to get a refund. Definitely send it back via a trackable, insured method.
It does seem like they may have shipped in reverse order, which is completely insane. They had 6+ weeks to plan for March orders, but now we're left waiting for new shipments from the distributor to the warehouse.
Edit: Looks like mine has just been shipped, so I retract the waiting on new shipments remark. Hopefully everyone else is now in transit too. Overall a disappointing experience though.

Supershop customer service said if I don't open the package and just take it to the post office and say I am refusing delivery it will be shipped back at no charge. However given the situation I'm not sure I trust that response.
I take back everything I said above. My USPS tracker updated about an hour ago to the parcel having arrived here in Texas and due for delivery tomorrow now. SuperShop is the best! For reference I preordered mid-April FYI
