I don't think this is a great deal when the iphone 11 can be had for as low as $60 from Metro PCS, that's with 1 month service included and you wait 6 months instead of 12 for unlocking.

I was able to add the phone and $15 plan by going to phone buy page selecting color and clicking check availability. Then before choosing a plan open new tab and BYOP (https://my.boostmobile.com/shop/buy/plans/) with $15 plan and click Choose Plan. Total (before tax) in cart $214.99.

I am in the same boat as you I chatted with customer service and they told me I could buy it as a new account and just put in the existing boost Sim card and it will work. We will see!

Yes it's the same glitch of $15 service plan but phone cost is $199 for iPhone 12, not $9.99 for refurbished XR.

If I were to cancel the service on the phone, I should still expect it to be able to used in the future with Boost service, correct? It wouldn't somehow be blacklisted for canceling the service which was part of the promo?
