I don't think this is a great deal when the iphone 11 can be had for as low as $60 from Metro PCS, that's with 1 month service included and you wait 6 months instead of 12 for unlocking.

I was able to add the phone and $15 plan by going to phone buy page selecting color and clicking check availability. Then before choosing a plan open new tab and BYOP (https://my.boostmobile.com/shop/buy/plans/) with $15 plan and click Choose Plan. Total (before tax) in cart $214.99.

Ok I know a trick to place the order just for the phone without any plan very easy. Make sure you already have autofill name,address,email ect. saved. First go to plan, BYOP and add the $15 plan first and proceed to cart and stop there, now open new tab and choose iphone 12 hit continue to add to cart, next page is the $40/$60 plan page stop here and go back to first tab, click on the name column and chose your name for autofill, when that's done your cart will auto replace the $15 plan with just the iphone 12 with no plan, now you can check out with paypal or however you want. Now sit and wait for shipping confirmation or cancelation email. I've confirm is still working before I post this.

once you get the phone you are free to used any Boost plan and cannot use another service provider?

I just try, the order seems to go thru and card is charged but if you log into your boost mobile account, and goto order history, the order status is being "error".

So, I guess this is NOT gonna work and to save people some headache.

I guess I will have to contact Paypal if my order is not cancelled automatically to get my money back.

I ended up grabbing this and actually need the plan and a new number for a work phone. Hopefully Boost is decent enough, about to find out I guess.

That video was from a year ago. The white SIM cards have been patched as of April-May of 2022. They don't work anymore. Maybe 15.1 doesn't include the Apples patch but I've never heard of that trick.

I used the white sim unlock back when it worked. It was nice while it lasted. The new solution is with turbo sims or gevey sim chips that work with your current sim. They are hit or miss but do work. I am currently using one in my Metro phone.
