I just turned off AutoPay, but will likely dispute my charges on PayPal Monday if nobody's seeing an order process.
I walked out the door paying $80 ($60 service and $20 activation)
He walked out paying $90 for 2 ($60 line 1 + $30 line 2 and no activation fee from his store)
512k is enough to do anything 'basic'. You aren't going to be happy streaming video, but web pages will load "OK" and things like e-mail, 3rd party messaging apps, and other basic things should work OK. You can even steam music at 512k just fine.
I bought this phone for my kid. After the month is up that I had to buy with the phone, I'll switch him to the $100/year 1GB/mo plan. Once that gig is up, it's 512k for him. After that year is up we will unlock (if he hasn't destroyed the phone by then) and decide if we should stay on for another year or switch to another carrier.
Edit: As ShannonF4392 pointed out, $100/year is for new customers only, so I guess my son lucked out and will be doing 5/gb month plan.
Steps: Has to be done on computer because you need 2 windows opened at the same time
1. Open the iPhone page: https://my.boostmobile.
2. Open another separate plan page: https://my.boostmobile.
3. On iPhone page, select phone color, click continue and stop here!
4. Then quickly go to plan page and click the $15/Month plan, then skip Mexico PLUS -> choose continue
5. If it works then you will arrive at checkout page with the iPhone and $15 plan added to cart and ready for check out
Just open a new tab, goto Boost Mobile from the CB site and then copy/paste the end of the URL beginning with ?irclickid=Rv....... to the end Step 5 and hit enter. Cart should still show total of $23X.xx.
I received the cb notification for $26.25 about 30 minutes after the order.

White sim = T-Mobile
All of the phones arrived with a white sim. I already have a $70 plan with Boost and the speeds are absolute garbage. 1mbps with 5G.
