I don't think this is a great deal when the iphone 11 can be had for as low as $60 from Metro PCS, that's with 1 month service included and you wait 6 months instead of 12 for unlocking.

I was able to add the phone and $15 plan by going to phone buy page selecting color and clicking check availability. Then before choosing a plan open new tab and BYOP (https://my.boostmobile.com/shop/buy/plans/) with $15 plan and click Choose Plan. Total (before tax) in cart $214.99.

Tony, Just to be clear, in order for the sim card unlock to work, we MUST use Esim? I'm trying to figure out how to get this done. Received mine yesterday and am using it on wifi only until figuring out the unlock hack.

BTW the higher GBs are probably never coming back in stock. Those were old stock. They came dead and with ios 14. These 64GBs are a new batch and come with ios 16.3.1 out of the box.

you need call boost to switch esim,then use qpe sim chip .phone carrier is sprint.

Thanks. Do you know what the risks of using it unlocked is (as in do we have to worry about the unlock sim malfunctioning). I trade from my phone, and want to know whether I should avoid that on this one if not connected to wifi.

I have not activated it at all. If I call them and ask to switch to esim that's all we should need on their end?

Is there a way to trade in Boost iPhone XR for this deal and get an even lower price? The $199 is available but I would wanna get rid of the XR which works perfectly fine

Assuming the XR is in good condition and you have use for it, I believe the current trade-in price at Apple is $150 for a gift card so if you have a store nearby, maybe just bring it in. I assume you're talking about the $99 deal so I think it should be relatively even and then just buy the iPhone? I don't think Boost has its own trade in program and even if it does, I always go with trading in store just to lock in the valuations.

Those services where you have to ship it in are very questionable. Just generally, I've had in store trade ins go better at both AT&T and Apple.

Did you used different mailing address, credit cards, or different email for every order?
I only purchased 1 this time, because last month already ordered an iPhone Xr from Boost.
