I don't think this is a great deal when the iphone 11 can be had for as low as $60 from Metro PCS, that's with 1 month service included and you wait 6 months instead of 12 for unlocking.

I was able to add the phone and $15 plan by going to phone buy page selecting color and clicking check availability. Then before choosing a plan open new tab and BYOP (https://my.boostmobile.com/shop/buy/plans/) with $15 plan and click Choose Plan. Total (before tax) in cart $214.99.

There are cases that make your phone shrink in thickness, didn't you know that? Smilie. Joking aside, what I meant is that I will try getting a thin case so it won't be as thick as with a regular case

I had one that never shipped, never was refunded so filed dispute with PayPal. Still no response from them.

Hey everyone, I just purchased iPhone 12 with the $15 plan from Boost Mobile and I'm planning to give it to my teenager. However, I have an old family T-Mobile plan that I'd like to eventually use for him. Can someone please explain the process related to Apple Trade or unlock with Boost? Do I need to stay with Boost for 12 months and later unlock it, or is there any other way? Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you are trading to the Apple Store for a new unlocked phone, you can get a credit of $300. If you are not making a purchase, you can get a gift card for $250.

To unlock this phone through Boost, you need 12 months of continuous service on your $15/month plan. I believe that means you will have to pay the 13th month to request the unlock. You can reduce the monthly cost by earning rewards through the app.

If you search this thread, others have talked about bypassing with a third party service.

I guess they don't unlock by third party service, they use a rsim to bypass lock, it still locked phone, but works with other carrier sim card.
