I don't think this is a great deal when the iphone 11 can be had for as low as $60 from Metro PCS, that's with 1 month service included and you wait 6 months instead of 12 for unlocking.

I was able to add the phone and $15 plan by going to phone buy page selecting color and clicking check availability. Then before choosing a plan open new tab and BYOP (https://my.boostmobile.com/shop/buy/plans/) with $15 plan and click Choose Plan. Total (before tax) in cart $214.99.

ICCID method no longer works from IOS 15 or 16 onwards. I have tried different seller for xfinity iphone and I ended up wasting so much money on those sim that I have finally gave up on getting it unlocked.

iPhone 12 from Boost comes with iOS 14 so you can still unlock it using ICCID method. Don't upgrade to newer iOS yet. After unlocking is successful, you can do it without any issue.

Most people got Boost iPhone 12 with iOS 16 out of package. The ones with iOS 14 were old stock that's not available from Boost anymore I believe.

I placed order from 3 different sellers for IMSI unlock rsim for ios 15 and ios 16. Only one of them was able to pop up menu but the IMSI didn't work as it still says unsupported sim. Mine was xfinity. Good luck if it works for you.

Finally got enough to cover my next month of service while using the boost coins app

Will keep doing this for the unlock, hopefully T-Mobile has a good trade in deal but it's not looking good.

So does an FCC complaint help here to get it unlocked? IF it comes with IOS14 then you can use a sim unlock kit correct? (Bust never update the IOS?)

I don't think the complaint matters since their terms are 12 months.

I've read on Reddit people consoling that even after 12 months, boost does not want to unlock devices for some.
