Really dislike contacting customer service for any company, so the less people to talk to or deal with, the better.

with metro, it usually auto unlocks after 180 days.
same with cricket and iPhones, it auto unlocks around the 176th day WITH active service.

Anyone attempt something like this?
I'm looking at the other iphone 12 thread and some people mentioned you cannot cancel the autopay. But some people here mentioned you can.
Can I install the Boost app on any phone and do it from there? Thanks in advance.

Another possibility: some received orange SIM, some - black one. Your iPhone uses a new SIM card called "Expanded Network" so ... contact CS to send you a replacement.

What doesn't make sense is that people are saying you can simply swap SIM cards and it would work. Wouldn't that be a major security flaw. Wouldn't that be the same as if I found an iPhone in the street and I took out the SIM card and put in my old SIM card expecting it to work.....
To me, it seems like I need to cancel service on the new iPhone and then do a swap from my existing account.
