I paid $324.74 today, now what should I do? Do I have to buy their monthly service plan? Or I can ignore the monthly plan and unlock it now? I put my T-mobile number to port in while ordering. Any please guide me? Thanks!

Is Samsung still poor and needing to be subsidized by Facebook, and other apps, you can't remove? Before you chime in, adb and disabling, that doesn't doesn't count. Move the goal posts all you want, back flip with all the apologist, mental gymnastics. Samsung should be paying us for those garbage

Can you still get it unlocked even you have already ported out the number to Tello? Thanks in advance.
Yes, choose the you don't have a mobile number from AT&T option on the AT&T unlock portal.

I'm understanding here is port your line or cancel your line first and it can be unlocked anytime because its already paid in full phone

If I port my number, first month fee would be charged? Or just for one day of activation?
What about one time activation fees?(atnt)

You can prevent most bloatwares from installing by disable/stop Android Setup, Google Partner Setup, Samsung setup wizard, etc. found in system apps during the first run before connecting to cellular data and/or wi-fi; no adb needed. You can uninstall facebook app if it's already pre-installed.

How is this phone from a productivity point of view .. Emails and general stuff
I got a fold 2 mainly because I wanted to use it as an oled ereader. After I started using it I quickly decided that the only reason I'd ever go back to a regular form factor is if it didn't last two years and I'm very nearly there.

Looking at the Verizon option, is everyone incurring tax on the original $1,799 price rather than the promo price, as well as a $35 upgrade fee? Adds another $160 total to the cost of the phone upfront for me, wondering if I'm missing a step and don't think I've found this listed anywhere in the thread or post yet - appreciate any help!

Tax is usually based on the full price, depending on where you live. You may be able to get the upgrade fee refunded from Verizon, depending on your tenure with Verizon and account type.

Okay just wanted to make sure this seemed correct

For the upgrade fee, any idea whether this would require calling Verizon to discuss even though the order is placed through BestBuy? Imagine that's done after the fact as a credit back to the account

Loved the fold3 but build quality is terrible. Never dropped the phone and after 15 months, there's a black stripe down the middle and the right screen becomes unresponsive to touch. The black stripe became larger and larger. It costs $550 to repair. Many other people reported same issues. Beware.

I didn't make it to 2 years with mine. See reply above.
