I just added Starz with the Netflix Verizon deal…. Very disappointed with Starz catalog, especially for kids. Can't believe people pay for Starz!!

Same here. Only watch outlander in it…but just looked it up and even that doesn't air until late June…with the second half of the season airing in 2024. I'll pass and just pay for 1 month when the entire season is out.

I did the 6 month for 10 bucks. It is fine for some movies and have some decent serials, I am not I to outlander but I did watched and liked "the missing".

But I hated the service as it has the worst bitrate and hence the video quality. This is okay in bright scenes but in dark scenes with varied shades of blacks and grey, it looked horrible.

Are these shows better than what's available on other streamers - no, but for a few bucks you can have something to watch for a month. I would never pay full price for Starz - but at $2 you can watch a couple of things and cancel.

I have only seen it come up on Instagram ads, but they also have a 6 months for $20 deal, which I am currently using. That you can cancel right away and use for 6 months. Again, only see it on Instagram ads and I can't get a direct link.

Black Sails. An older show but I just gave it a chance recently and it's great, go for this if you haven't seen it.

Black Sails is a great show. Deadwood on HBO was a show about how cutthroat miners and cowboys and gunslingers were in the late 1800's.
Black Sails reminds me of that except it was about pirates. I also just got done watching BMF (Black Mafia Family) on Starz, a mostly true series about a Detroit drug gang in the 80's. BMF is worth watching too if you haven't seen it.
