I've got this watch. I basically just use it to tell time, date, and count my steps and check my pulse. It's got like 100 other functions, but I'm too lazy to learn them all. Really happy with the durability and battery life though.
A good deal, that repeats is a good deal that repeats - saying, "it's not a good deal" and then singing praise about the quality and battery longevity is just some form of mental gymnastics, rarely seen.
Let us know where to buy this watch for less than $80 for what you consider a good deal. I'll wait.
This goes on sale at this price about every other month at Buydig or through their eBay store so it's not a good deal (check the history). This is better than a Vivoactive 3 watch but worse than an instinct solar. You're definitely getting a quality watch with great battery life and the Garmin build which will last you years, easily.

This is the second time it has been on sale for $80. I bought it the previous time. Before that it was $90/100.
But a solid watch @ $80. Battery is also pretty good.

Is it better than Fitbit Sense? Which one is preferably to buy between this and Fitbit Sense?
My friend showed me his Sense. Sense has an oxygen sensor and electrocardiogram app which Instinct doesn't. Instinct has better navigation tools than Sense.
IMO if you're using it for health tracking, get a Sense. If you're using it for outdoors/hiking/navigation get an Instinct.

I bought one of these last time to use with my polar h10 while running for out of hr zone alerts. It works perfectly. I found my Apple Watch ultra would let me get 20bpm out of my zone on a regular basis before altering my. The garmin alerts me when I'm 1 beat out usually, sometimes it's been as high as 3bpm out. Battery life is amazing. Several weeks before I bother charging even with gps on during my 50 minutes runs (3 times a week) I don't wear it or have it powered on when I'm not running.
Pulled the trigger on it. Had it in my Amazon cart at 97$ for a week or so, this is better. Vivoactive 3 quit working and didn't want to spend a ton on a replacement.

Battery is solid, I charge it once a week but it would last a bit longer than that. GPS kills the battery life so I don't use that much.

Have not worn anything resembling a smart watch in the past, but kept seeing this below 100 and finally decided to jump when price dipped to 80.
