I ordered the Browning "Lucas" hoodie from Field Supply last week that was $9.85 on sale. It's a "hoodie" but it is made of thin T-shirt material. And I mean thin like "8 t-shirts in a bag" Walmart thin. It's OK for mild lower temps but not much more. This may be more substantial but double check the material.

I ordered the Browning "Lucas" hoodie from Field Supply last week that was $9.85 on sale. It's a "hoodie" but it is made of thin T-shirt material. And I mean thin like "8 t-shirts in a bag" Walmart thin. It's OK for mild lower temps but not much more. This may be more substantial but double check the material.

Yes the Lucas hoodie is very light weight, basically a long sleeve T with a hood. These Peak ones certainly look much bulkier and are priced quite a bit higher than the Lucas elsewhere so hoping it is.

thats exactly the thought i got when i saw this, oh wow this brand is big into getting lots of marketing. I keep looking for clothes with brand name thats not so prominent or non-existent but turning out to be a tough task unless i part with lots of money

In other news: This hoodie would actually be decent looking if they got rid of the huge logo or the lettering. Both would be better but I could live with one or the other...not both.

You can tell just looking at the Lucas on their website that it is thin. It's the sort that is designed to be worn for workouts where you want to bump up your body temps a bit (or at least how I see that style often used) in addition to cool temp wearing. This hoodie doesn't look the same at all imo. Thanks for the information though! Edit:typo
