- Q800B and Q910B have similar profiles for the soundbar itself. Similar specs, dimensions, weight, etc. I don't think they are really different.
- Q800B and Q910B have the same sub.
- Q800B is only 5.1.2 vs Q910B is 9.1.2
- Q800B can be 7.1.4 w/ the 9500s
- Q910B can only be 9.1.2 and the extra 4.0.0 comes from the rear speakers which are side (front wide) and front firing. It is, however, not top firing (Atmos) Therefore, the Q910B does not have rear Atmos but instead had "front wide" which is basically the surround between the front and the rear on the "side". There is a lot of debate whether this is better than rear atmos but I've concluded that rear atmos is the way to go for most situations.
- Q800 w/ 9500s gives you front and top firing which adds rear atmos but no side firing so instead, no "front wide".
- Q800 = $320 or so w/ 10% + $120 if you can get the rear = $440 making it a better overall deal.
- Q910 has pics that make it confusing because they've mixed the Q910 and Q930 together (the manual and a lot of references combine the two). However, the Q930 includes a rear atmos setup.
- Q910 requires a rear "module" that you have to wire the speakers into so its less of a "clean" look. Q800 w/ 9500s is completely wire-free (doesn't require a separate receiver)

If you still need more adjustments, download smartthings from Samsung and that gives you adjustments for individual speakers.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Ever since I downloaded smart things app and registered the speakers and selected space fit and enabled surround sound. Next time when I turn off tv and turn it on, it still shows externals speakers are connected. However I don't hear any sound at all from the speakers. It is turned on and not muted but I can't hear anything.
I have a Sony X900H from Costco. I was able to have it well until I used smart things. Not sure if it messed it up. When I plug the power off and turn it on, it asked me to set it up again. I went through set up and it works. But if I turn off tv and turn on again after few mins, it doesn't make a sound even if it is turned on. Anyone face this? Any suggestions?
