i just grabbed 2 buckets and they arent even enough for 2.
btw, they are both staled. both original and "extra crispy".
16 pieces of chicken aren't enough for 2 people?!?

3000 calories is a more normal caloric intake than 1500 actually. 1500 is about the minimum an average adult male should consume and even if dieting one should consult a physician about the health issues that could result if you maintain such a low caloric intake
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ if you're eating an 8pc/3600 calories each meal, probably more than just physical health issues going on

I posted this previously, but will post for you as well:

A 24-year-old male who works out an hour a day may need 3000 calories Per Day but the average person does not, and they definitely don't need 3600 cal per meal!

Better in price or taste? I generally find supermarket fried chicken rather horrible.
You dont have a Publix near you then

$10 for 8 pieces of chicken. Good lord.
people should be clamoring for holy hell. this is outrageous 😳 8 pieces of a bird used to be $6.99 or better
yet $4.99. sadly!, this should not be considered a deal. the world is officially fkd!

I'm from california, lived in florida for a few months. I concur with your statement. Publix is the best. Miss those chicken dinner meals and Pub subs. WAYY better and cheaper than kfc and subway.

I'm going by what the FDA says and of course didn't mean per meal, and even your own link has a category for prepubescents who they think should consume over 3200 calories. Trying to help people be healthier is fine but overdoing it to the point you are handing out misinformation is not. 3000 calories a day is very normal and perfectly fine for most adult males

In some parts of the world, rats are a delicacy.
I've heard they taste like squirrel, and while I've never had a rat, I've had a lot of squirrel and it's good!

1. Despite many acting like it, most of the people here are not "prepubescent"
2. The comment thread you jumped in on was with a person who seemed incredulous that an eight piece would be TWO meals.
3. I did not "hand out misinformation", I provided a link so people can enter their own information and get the correct caloric intake recommended. They can then click that to get a meal plan because it's obvious some people on Slickdeals need it desperately if a 16 piece chicken is not enough to feed two people in their family.

Because of South Park, I always get the extra crispy now.
So no one will eat all the skin off? 🤣

IIRC, Popeye's $2 for 2pcs leg & thigh, so multiply everything by 4 and it'd be the same. I hate chicken breasts so this works out fine for me. Dark meat is the best.
I'm with you on Popeyes being better and I like thighs best.
When I bought this KFC deal, they let me get 4 each crispy and original thighs; I don't care for drumsticks.

True, harder to become grossly obese with roasted chicken

Has anyone been able to get the "Kentucky Grilled" as part of this deal? I think their grilled chicken (while typically smaller pieces) is very good, but most of the KFC's I've been to don't seem to carry it anymore.
