yeah like the twin grip is regularly at $51.74 and the Alligator water pump pliers are a couple dollars cheaper than the last front page deal a few days ago, and the cobra pliers are regular priced $54.16

Channelock are not in the same class when it comes to steel quality & heat treatment, look up reddit or any comparison thread between the two.
Can testify to this, my coworker actually just bought new channel lock end cutting nippers and couldn't cut 18g rolled wire, I had to hand him my 14 year old beat to hell knipex to cut it. Significantly better tools and well worth the price.

Channel lock 420s good price for $15 / ea,
You're obviously never used both of them side by side. Or maybe you're a DIYer. But knipex is in a class of its own. Half the guys on my job site has it, the other half wants it.
Twin grip pliers with comfort grip are <$1 less than the non-comfort version for those that who are interested.
I've mostly been getting comfort versions but I don't really have a good reason why. I've been getting them on sales about the same price as the other grip.
New to tools. I got some cobra pliers last time and they are really good (I never used any other pliers so I don't have a baseline to compare to). They did however leave teeth marks on my shower head. Are any of the flat head pliers on sale? The ones I found seem to be all 50+
