These are boat shoes. No one is wearing spikes or felt shoes on a boat.

None of the reviews suggest these are slippery when wet. They are specifically designed for use around water as a boat shoe.

They aren't intended for climbing rocks along the ocean or river banks where you would need some korkers or felt padded wading boots.

So long as you understand the purpose of the shoe, there really isn't anything wrong here to suggest they aren't good for their intended purpose.

However, reviews do suggest quality isn't great, but at this price it may not matter as much.

They are part of Columbia's PFG Line or Professional Fishing Gear, so they're boat shoes. The shoes are stain and water resistant. They are not water shoes, meant to walk in tidal pools, shoreline walks or being submerged walking in creeks or shallow waterways.
