That 100 min runtime is on the lowest setting and it barely picks up crumbs at that setting. Think 10-20 min for usability.
This vacuum sucks!! So I bought one! 100 min run time is amazing

I ordered it on Monday, arrived on Tuesday. Just put ours together. It was refurbished by LG. Looks brand new. Seems to work really well for a battery-powered vacuum.

Goit it from ebay ~2 yrs ago, great machine. Wish there was an LED on the head. The carpet head is starting to die, the hardwood head still works fine. The 2 batteries is great . Shame no auto empty option like Samsung clean station. Only an issue for really dirty houses

Anyone know how this holds up against the Dyson V series vacuums?
I just got and assembled this A9 today. Batteries both needed recharging which is EST 8 hrs (when charging both at the same time, otherwise 4 hrs to charge completely dead batt), sometime after that I will be comparing with my V11 (vacuum high traffic area rug with v11, then with this A9, see what the V11 missed). Then I will try the opposite order on another high traffic rug. For the few min I was able to test on the middle setting... it picked up quite a bit on a rug vacuumed with the V11 like a week ago, and I don't think what it picked up was just stuff from that last week... so far so good! It is definitely easier to handle/use!

How does this compare to Dyson? I have a V7 absolute and it's not very strong.
See above, although I have a V11. I used to have a V8(close to a V7 I would guess?), then upgraded to V11 which was a huge upgrade over the V8. We will see how the LG compares to the V11, and you can then correlate to a rough idea on vs. the V7.

Has anyone received this? How's the condition of it?? Never bought a refurb from Walmart before so I'm curious what their standards are for refurbished items.
I received it, plain brown box, documentation clearly states it is a refurb done by LG, with a 6 month warranty (that's not great :/). That said, everything was in plastic bags, the peels or a few shiny parts were still applied, and everything was in like new condition. This might have been used... but if so, it was BARELY used.

Also want to note... I did some quick review searching after this deal posted before ordering, and checking for "LG CordZero A9 review" brings up a lot. I thought I was watching reviews for the right one but I didn't in all cases... not all reviews mention "Kompressor" when reviewing the A9, which turns out is a HUGE difference. I loved the compacting feature I saw in a couple of reviews, but that is a Kompressor only thing (I get it NOW, but at the time, for me "Kompressor"=older mercedes with a super charger, I figured it was just marketing for the vacuum motor... but it is actually referring partly to the little slide level that compact stuff in the bin, and makes emptying the bin of debris a lot easier... but not worth ~>$300 more easier Big Grin).

Also, the real life battery tests will be better on those models given higher capacity batteries. Finally, I got three extra tools, and I was expecting the hand roller accessory thing to have a vibrating beater bar with little nipples on it, but this one comes with a handtool that has a traditional spinning beater bar with rubber agitators (vs. the brush agitators you normally see on a roller bar).

I will post again in a day or two once I have tried this thing against the v11 some more... returning or not TBD based on those results... now that I see I didn't get what I thought I was getting (the assisting slide for debris compacting/"bin emptying" was HUGE for me, having to empty the Dyson so much, and having to beat the Dyson against the side of a trashcan to empty drives me nuts, drives TONS of dust in the air Frown).

Can someone who owns this comment on the usefulness of the two heads? Can you use the one multi-purpose or does the hardwood one really make a big difference? I know with my previous Dyson, the hardwood really helped not kick crumbs around. Thanks

The combination is fine but the hardwood floor one picks up bigger debris on hardwood floors easier.

Does allstate warranty worth it? 24$ for 3 years is cheap, but want to make sure it will not be a hassle to get something replaced under warranty.
I just had my first Allstate warranty situation. I had a pair of Sony WF-1000XM4. One of the buds stopped charging. I sent them in for repair. I received them back and the other bud stopped charging. I think they just swapped the batteries. They ended up refusing me the full purchase price. It took some time but I was pleased with the outcome.

These warranties are never worth it, especially since you can easily stomach a small loss like some accessory breaking in the next couple of years. And it's not cheap relative to the price of the vacuum. Don't be a sucker.
I completely agree! Extended warranties are the biggest scam in retail... especially on items that are relatively inexpensive.
