My only complaint with this vacuum is this. Both will eventually break, or become unusable and the replacement cost is nearly the same as a refurb vacuum.
I am looking at taking this deal only for the head and batteries
I usually don't buy warranties for stuff like this but for $18 for 2 years I went for it since it covers wear and tear and it will cover the heads and the batteries.

Honestly I am considering the deal just for that too. Wonder if there's an adapter for DeWalt or Makita batteries to use with this vacuum.
has anyone gotten an adapter to use with their Dewalt or Milwaukee batteries instead?
I've been using Ryobi's latest dual roller vac as my main stick vac and it's been amazing. Def huge advantage to have all those batteries available. I've heard of adapters from Ryobi to the platforms you mentioned so that could be an option.

We used to use the carpet cleaner head for hardwood floors too. But now I use the soft head for the hardwood and I feel like it picks up dirt better.
