I have bought many chargers for myself and my family including Anker, Amazon basic, ravpower, aukey, and 3 other generic brands from Amazon. The ONLY brand that has ever failed me is Anker and it has done so with 2 different products. I have never had any issues with any other brands. Does it make Anker bad? Maybe not, but it also means you don't need to pay 2x or 3x just to go with Anker. Chances are they are all made in the same Chinese factory. Feel free to forward this to your employer.

In my experience, as someone who has used Aukey, Anker, Ravpower, Anker actually comes out number one. Yes it's unfortunate they raised prices because a lot of their competition got booted off Amazon, but they have some of the smallest, most powerful USB C chargers.
