Just for you to know:
1. The screen has 99% sRGB coverage but very average brightness of a little over 300 nits. Not usable outdoors.
2. The RAM is soldered but 16 gigs is a lot more that you would need for an ultralight
3. The hinges are usually ok on these models but it will not feel good.
Screen on full brightness is too bright IMHO, but I haven't tried it outside. Though we have a south facing bank of windows in our living room and I had no issues using it sitting in full sun at half brightness.
The thing that could be an issue for some is if you don't drop the voltage down, the fans run pretty damn loud quite a bit.
After setting power settings to 50%, it is really quiet. I do like that if I need the full performance of the processor it is a quick power profile away.
Get 10+ hours of run time frequently with the lower power settings and half screen brightness.
Just sayin...

This has also gone down to $384, I believe, with coupons in the last few months. Under $400 is an excellent deal for this, IMHO.

Condition like new! Battery wear-out is only 0.6%. Build quality is okay, don't expect MacBook or metal chassis.
Very light but still very efficient, good battery, and EVO standard.
It's really hard to find anything better in that price range.
Fair observation. I suppose most don't really carry it for field work.
