    Color ink is $70 and prints 700 pages (probably with ink saver) so I assume about 500 pages if you are lucky? $1.40 per 10 pages.

    Black XL ink is $50 and prints 2000 pages, that's impressive. Regular one is $35 and prints 1000 pages.

    I have an old Canon MG that stopped connecting to Wifi and is not compatible with chromebooks or anything else, just old windows computers. Does anyone know if this is compatible with chromebook? That's a big point for us with kids homeworks, otherwise they have to keep emailing them to me so I can print it.

    Thank you for the ink cost analysis. According to Chromebook Help [google.com], the HP OfficeJet 9018 (OfficeJet 9010 series) is certified "Works with Chromebook"

    That's awesome thanks for letting us know. I wasn't sure because the link on amazon had other printers showing compatible with chrome, android, etc, but this one did not list chrome. I think I can also check son's chromebook to make sure it lists this printer out of the box. Even if it doesn't sometimes you can get drivers. I mainly need this for feeder to scan pages and toss the docs to go digital.
