I had one of these and anker doesn't guarantee this to work with any MagSafe case fwiw. They said to use it without a case. It was a pita to get a return on something bought 2 days previously. I usually am a fan of anker.

I find it funny that every single ad for this type of product shows the phone without a case. Do they really expect an average person (not the Uber rich) to spend $1000+ on a phone and not protect it with a case at all times?

Unfortunately there's a misconception with that for iPhone wireless charging

TLDR - made for MagSafe = up to 15w. MagSafe compatible = max 7.5w regardless if package states otherwise

AFAIK only Apple and and some Belkin charging accessories have made for magsafe products

The magnetic charge provides up to 7.5W maximum power. .. bummer. Was hoping for at least 15w

Same capacity. The $69 one usb-c port is at the bottom. This one (newer version), and usb-c port is on the side

I recently saw a YouTube review. I believe this one is the newer version. It's supposed to be better with heat , which was a problem with the original. It Also has the port on the side instead of the bottom. In for one. Thanks op
