Nice find for the 4gb ram version. Here's hoping the 6gb version gets a similar price drop soon

Man I researched the crap out of this and found out that it used to work with playstation controllers, but the Lenovo update to the current version of Android OS broke button mapping. And sadly, the same goes for the ds4 controller you ordered.

Don't waste your time with Lenovo tech support, they're as useless in this scenario as telling your grandmother how the X button does what the Square button is supposed to and L1 doesn't work at all.

I ended up just using an Xbox controller, assuming that doesn't work for playstation remote play, but who knows.

Otherwise, tablet is awesome.

One key thing for gamers, this has a micro SD card slot, and no matter what level speed writing/reading card you stick in it, it is bottlenecked by the actual reader on the tablet.

So for instance, downloading a GameCube ROM to internal storage and playing on dolphin emulator will net you a solid 60fps in just about anything.

Move that rom to the SD card, and you'll get frame rate drops and hiccups throughout the entire gameplay process. It wasn't as bad with something like paper Mario, but basically unplayable with anything more graphic demanding like NBA Street vol 2 or SSX3.

Anyone looking for a regular case, I got this and like it:

Thin, turns on/off screen, enough protection to throw it around vs carefully handling it.
Does this seal well magnetically when closing the lid as well placing the lid on the back of tablet? I have a case similar but it doesn't "lock" very well on the front or back

Can tell you exactly how good it would be on a battery drain.
Sometime it rained ridiculously high and sometime it is very good like an overnight for 3 to 4%.
I think it's a software bug.
But for web browsing and watching video in a medium pace it gives a good battery life for size of this tablet
It's a bug with AOD and lift to wake. After I disabled those no more battery drain.

hummm

ok so it's magnetic close and when you form the stand. however, I just tried it and it's not magnetic when fully open and on the back of the tablet. I guess never noticed, because i'm holding it when open, or in stand position on table.

At this price and specs.... THIS IS the best tablet deal around... and by far.

Screen is AMAZING
CPU (Speed) is VERY GOOD
4GB of RAM is enough, just close your apps when you are not using them. And limit your tabs open when browsing.
128GB is plenty ESPECIALLY since it has a Micro SD card slot

The closest thing to compare this with is the Tab S7 or Tab S8 and I would choose this tablet every day at this price point.

I do own a Tab S8+ and this tablet and fireHD10 and Lenovo 10e Chromebook Tablet and HP X2 11 Chrome Book Tablet. And I like this one the most due to screen size and screen quality.

This tablet will have updates LONGER then Samsung Tab S7 or S8 or S8+ or S8Ultra. Samsung promised 4 years Lenovo promised 3 years and we are on month number 3 for Lenovo and about 1.5 years into the Tab S8.

THE ONLY BAD that I can think about is that I believe it only has 10W charging. While that sucks it really is not a big deal.

Right now, this is the best bang, the best value of any tablet on the market.

I use a FIreHD10 Foam Case (it fits good enough)... sick and tired of cracked tablet screens.

I experience NO DRAIN, but I have read that the drain has to do with the magnetic lid for cases that have the cover with the magnet. OR it is software that you installed.

What is the difference between this and the M10?
M10 uses a very OLD and very WEAK CPU

And this tablet uses a High End newer CPU.

Besides this Tablet has OLED, is 11.2", more RAM, etc...

does Zoom work on mediatek processors?
yes....
While there is software that only work with Snapdragon.... the
ist is very small. Realize that amazon uses mediatek.

I should've read the description more and did more research before pulling the trigger. But pulled the trigger because I didn't want to miss out like I did the last deal.

I assume, if I used a higher powered charger from my other device, it would work fine and maybe even charge faster if needed? I personally don't like fast charging any of my devices because it heats up the battery too fast and I've read heat is really what kills the battery (as well as charging it to 100% and allowing it to sit for days at 100%).

Very informative reply, especially the bit about recommendation to transfer ROMS onto onboard storage. Thank you for the info

In for 1. Thanks for posting.

Anyone have recommendations for cases? This will be for a child. So something that can protect it while dropped will be ideal. Thank you.
i use a old firehd10 foam case that has a moveable handle. I used a knife to cut out power and volume buttons, usb c port and cameras..... over all i am happy. Plus I purchased a foam case from Aliexpress but the handle does not move.

Seconded, I'm on my 3rd return with screen protectors. Their flawed designs keep making bubbles by the edges.
At least I found a sturdy case that covers all the corners. BobjGear Bobj Rugged Tablet Case for Lenovo Tab P11 Pro 11.5 [amazon.com]
So yeah limited choices for accessories but good tablet for various uses and some game plays.
Have you been able to find a reliable case or screen protector yet?

Yes on the case; the one I shared is pretty sturdy and fits the tablet. I bought it in black but it looks like the seller ran out of that color, still a good rugged case if you don't mind other colors. As for the screen protector, it's still TBD. Will let you know if the 4th one I bought will do the trick.

What case did everyone go with that bought it on the previous deal?
You can try that one
BobjGear Bobj Rugged Tablet Case for Lenovo Tab P11 Pro 11.5 (TB-J706F) Kid Friendly (Batfish Blue) https://a.co/d/8GjRSib
They don't have it in black anymore, but it's still a pretty good case if you don't mind other colors. The case is pretty thick and has a good grip. I accidentally bumped it to a couple walls at work and it's been doing a good job protecting the edges.

I bought the 6 GB ram version from Lenovo during a sale last month +12% cashback from Ra--en site and also had a 4% cashback from paypal brought the price down to a reasonable amount. Its blazing fast.

Had I not bought this, would have jumped on this, really good deal for $220.

Tempted, but like others have said think I'll have to wait for the 6gb to go on sale. Nothing I own has 4gb anymore. Phone is 8gb, laptop is 8gb. Just a little worried about 4.
Can't find any side by side reviews on youtube of the 4gb vs the 6gb showing how different they are.
