Nice find for the 4gb ram version. Here's hoping the 6gb version gets a similar price drop soon

Man I researched the crap out of this and found out that it used to work with playstation controllers, but the Lenovo update to the current version of Android OS broke button mapping. And sadly, the same goes for the ds4 controller you ordered.

Don't waste your time with Lenovo tech support, they're as useless in this scenario as telling your grandmother how the X button does what the Square button is supposed to and L1 doesn't work at all.

I ended up just using an Xbox controller, assuming that doesn't work for playstation remote play, but who knows.

Otherwise, tablet is awesome.

One key thing for gamers, this has a micro SD card slot, and no matter what level speed writing/reading card you stick in it, it is bottlenecked by the actual reader on the tablet.

So for instance, downloading a GameCube ROM to internal storage and playing on dolphin emulator will net you a solid 60fps in just about anything.

Move that rom to the SD card, and you'll get frame rate drops and hiccups throughout the entire gameplay process. It wasn't as bad with something like paper Mario, but basically unplayable with anything more graphic demanding like NBA Street vol 2 or SSX3.

Have you been able to find a reliable case or screen protector yet?
I got this case for mine and it is very good.

Can tell you exactly how good it would be on a battery drain.
Sometime it rained ridiculously high and sometime it is very good like an overnight for 3 to 4%.
I think it's a software bug.
But for web browsing and watching video in a medium pace it gives a good battery life for size of this tablet
Not sure if this answers your question, but I used my new 6GB for about 3.5 on a flight yesterday and still had 53% left.

The issue with the battery drain is the CPU... MT1300T. This CPU uses more power then others and it uses way more then budget tablets that have a very weak CPU.

Overall, I find it acceptable... about as good as the Tab S8+ (which I am not crazy happy with).

One thing to note is that the battery life is dependent on what you do... such as gaming takes up more power.

Tempted, but like others have said think I'll have to wait for the 6gb to go on sale. Nothing I own has 4gb anymore. Phone is 8gb, laptop is 8gb. Just a little worried about 4.
Can't find any side by side reviews on youtube of the 4gb vs the 6gb showing how different they are.
I don't think you would notice the difference unless you leave tabs open and multiple programs opened. Sure more RAM would be better but this tablet for the price ROCKS and you are complaining about something I bet you would never even notice a difference.

So I keep seeing cases like this where it's a small trifold. I'm always concerned that it can tip backwards and fall over. Any comments on how sturdy it is or if it can hold up to standing in landscape mode? I primarily use it in that mode on my bedside table for watching YouTube.

I should've read the description more and did more research before pulling the trigger. But pulled the trigger because I didn't want to miss out like I did the last deal.

I assume, if I used a higher powered charger from my other device, it would work fine and maybe even charge faster if needed? I personally don't like fast charging any of my devices because it heats up the battery too fast and I've read heat is really what kills the battery (as well as charging it to 100% and allowing it to sit for days at 100%).
As far as I understand and with my personal experience, this tablet will only charge at 10W.... no matter which charger you use....of course if you use a charger that is less then 10W, you will only be able to charge as fast as the charger allows.

I don't see this as a big deal
And HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tablet.

Per Lenovo.....Lenovo Tab P11 Pro Gen 2 comes with sensors such as accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. The tablet is fueled with Li-Po 8200 mAh that is non-removable. Additionally, it has Fast charging 20W + Quick Charge 3.0. It is available in colors like Storm Grey and Oat.

I've only tested pd chargers.

I've gotten it to say "charging rapidly" with a qc 3.0 charger. No clue at all why they wanted to use some weird 10v 2a standard. I have a usb power tester and at some point determine the highest power I can put into it.

Kind of annoying I have to go to the battery tab and see how fast it's charging (charging normally, charging slowly, charging rapidly) instead of seeing it on the lock screen or on the pull down notification.

Seems pretty stable. Buying the case from Amazon, you can easily return it.

lenovo sells a usb hub that has hdmi out.... Lenovo Tab P11 Pro Gen 2 USB C Hub 3.0 Ports 4K HDMI VGA PD Charging Adapter

But what makes this tablet extra amazing is that you can use this tablet as a wireless second screen to a windows 10 or 11 or android 11 or higher machine.
