About this deal:
$300 manufacturer's savings is valid 3/27/23 through 4/23/23. While supplies last.
saw this, this morning. i'll be the first to say, amazing deal! and the likely tax deduction of the 30% tax credit too (see blog link above). front page very soon.
So you can take this to an EV charger like Tesla and charge it during power outages (assuming the charging station has power of course)?
I think they just mean you can quickly recharge it at EV stations, after using it for backup during power outages, or after using it up as a portable power bank (like while car camping).
Around me, you can get electricity at some EV stations much cheaper ($/kW) than if you were to charge it at home from your mains.

Very good deal on a good portable battery. Lots of competitors coming soon in this space though, at $0.5-0.7/Wh
Anyone using this for a tax credit is an idiot, however. And anyone who claims the home solar credit but uses it as a portable battery I hope gets audited
Why? It's probably enough to run your refrigerator and Internet overnight vs having no battery backup for your solar power during an outage.
