This is the same machine that sold by Costco and was FP over the holidays. The original deal thread has lots of good information:

https://slickdeals.net/f/16204003-asus-14-5-oled-vivobook-intel-evo-platform-laptop-12th-gen-intel-core-i7-12700h-2880-x-1800-display-120hz-windows-11-midnight-black-715-699-99-14-99sh-costco

I bought one and it has been solid. Battery life is very bad, but I rarely use it on the go. Noise is not too bad once you use the Asus tools to turn the fans down. I upgraded the memory to 40GB by adding a single 32GB stick.
actually upgradable to 36GB ram if one puts in a 32GB stick!.

This is a pretty good price for an OLED fast laptop. Of course the battery life and noise level won't be as good. They should've used a U or P cpu instead!
Battery life seems pretty bad from reviews, compared with competitors with similar performance and screens.

I can't find anything that suggests it's compatible with a 32GB stick.

ASUS webpage says:
8GB DDR4 on board
4GB DDR4 SO-DIMM
Total system memory upgradeable to:16GB

But Crucial.com and MrMemory.co.uk (don't know if that's a reliable site) do show the SO-DIMM slot can accept a 16GB stick for 24GB total/max.
