    I used to think this way. But after 36 hours of travel to a small beach island in the Philippines, I must say Crocs are amazing. Through the airport. In the taxi. On the boat. In the hotel (always recommend shower shoes when travelling). On the beach. In the room. They're universal, amazing, and comfortable. Easily packable. Breathable. And ugly as sin. But they are totally worth it.

    The problem I have with Crocs is one I haven't verified; there is a claim they wreak havoc on your feet and body. If that's true, it's a better reason to avoid them than they are ugly. I'm assuming most podiatrist say they are bad for you.

    There was a deal on Sketchers Arch Fit version of Crocs for $17 and I'm mad that I missed it, I bet they would have been way more comfortable than Crocs.
