If you pre-order from Best Buy for store-pickup, Best Buy likes to slap stickers on their items so watch out.

Looks great, but this hardware really needs a processor/GPU upgrade.

No where do you find an OLED Switch for LESS than $300 LOL. Refurbs even are $310 at Best Buy. But that's Refurbs not new ones.

How many people here are just buying this to try to resell it at some point in the future? Just curious. It's certainly not a good deal otherwise.

I expect this to be available as much as the Animal Crossing Edition, although, this series has a better recognition than Animal Crossing so it depends on how much Nintendo wants to manufacture it. If it helps in sales, I don't see them holding back. If you are buying this to scalp, you're probably not going to make much and just end up returning it. If you're buying for collecting, this thing will probably go up in value a decade from now. Just the Zelda editions for the portable consoles (DS and 3DS) are really high even used. but those were really limited in manufacturing.
I agree that this should still go up in value given the history with ds/3ds (I mean, this is a portable, after all). Though, to your point, probably not as high given that this should be a decent manufacturing run like the Splatoon/pokemon oleds.

Ordered an OLED and pro controller for my collection. Don't think we'll see a sale at any point in these

OP, you might want to add to your post that users with a Target Redcard can also get 5% off ($18 off).

Is this even worth buying to scalp with ebay seller fees being so high now?

Did anyone get one ordered? It just says "coming soon". Not that it's out of stock.

Edit: NVM I think it will just end up being a pre-auth charge only in Q1 and then it will actually charge when it is shipped and by then we will be in Q2 when there is no 5% anymore...

That's fine, but breath of the wild had several points in gameplay that caused severe frame rate drops.

You don't need to compete with the 4k60fps crowd. But the switch needs a power boost.
Nonsense really because frame rate drops occur on all platforms no matter how powerful.

Nevermind no one makes more polished games than Nintendo as a rule of thumb.
