About this Item:
The Nintendo Switch – OLED Model - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition system features a design inspired by the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game, including the familiar Hylian Crest from the Legend of Zelda series on the front of the dock (game not included).
I just successfully got in line and pre-ordered one for local pickup in Utah.
Order before the scalpers do, if you're planning on getting one!
I wish you all a wonderful Tuesday & GOOD LUCK!! ^_^
Zelda/Nintendo fanboys are a strange bunch. Every new Zelda game is "the best game ever made!"
I was meaning more the fact that people are paying 500 plus for something still available at retail. >_< I consider myself a fan boy but not I guess that much. However inmy opinion more breath of the wild style Zelda is never bad

Does eBay still use Bucks/Rewards? I used to get a lot and sometimes buy things that were more expensive than Amazon, just because it was "free".
I know this will be a collectible and probably fetch north of $500 some day but man, I echo the sentiment that this hardware is really aging. It was slow in 2017 and even slower today. I really hope we see a revision to the hardware soon, when in reality the tegra chip inside is from late 2015…
$500? Probably 1500+. Nintendo keeps the leash tight on these! I think my old Fire Emblem Fates 3DS might go for 600+?

I could not agree more! I held out and decided to not buy it because they had not invested much into the hardware. Yes the games are sort of fun but the architecture is garbage. Marketing has kept Nintendo and the black for decades. I really wish they would just release something with good quality specs.
How many people here are just buying this to try to resell it at some point in the future? Just curious. It's certainly not a good deal otherwise.
This is my plan. I have no reason to open this because I already have a Switch, not a big hit on my wallet at the moment, and I'm hoping we're still around 15-20 years from now to see the value of this grow.
Whatever would Nintendo do without apologists like you white knighting for them at every opportunity?
The notion that this is a $70 game now is laughable on what was already outdated hardware when it came out six years ago. There's no extra man power needed for 4k textures. No multi console ports. No ray tracing or whatever other nonsense publishers are using to justify making even more money. Just another excuse for Nintendo to nickel and dime their diehard unquestioning fan base.
It's a 70 game because it's going to be one of the best games of all time with a great story, great gameplay, and great graphics, with wide appeal. Even now when I see BOTW I'm stunned at how beautiful it all is. The whole of it is worth more than the sum of its parts. In my opinion it has the best horse animations of any game ever. If any game is allowed to be 70 this game is allowed to be 70.

I agree, these screen printed themes aren't going to cut it that much longer.
I see people already successfully selling them for 500 on ebay. Always some idiot out there...
