I vaguely remember when I was big into espresso talking to a guy about the Italian roasted beans staying fresher longer than American roasted beans for whatever reason. I don't recall and maybe he was just trying to sell me old beans. Anyway best Italian beans for espresso in my experience has been Bristot Buongusto. Great as straight shot, Americano, and holds up well to milk

Reasonably priced baseline quality, hard to beat; could be better but there's no incentive in the current retail landscape. Already the two-bag pricing is attractive, the discount is just the crema on top.

Just got two bags of Super Crema I ordered earlier this week. Roast day is Feb 8, 2023. That's really good for mass-produced coffee IMO.

Great Coffee. Not such a great price - not even close to a slickdeal. Crappy seller and customer service. Charge sales tax improperly - NOBODY else has ever charged me sales tax on coffee in my state (food is non-taxable unless 'prepared') - snarky replies when questioned.

crema e aroma & qualita rosso are the two worst Lavazza blends imho. my fav is gran crema
