Does the larger ones work with the switch?

The branding on the cards has nothing to do with compatibility. You are simply paying extra for a picture on a card that sits inside your console.

For card recommendations, you can check nintendo's site here:https://en-americas-support.ninte...d-card-faq

Larger cards are better if you get digital content more often than physical cartridges. The switch can handle cards up to 2TB, so anything large on the market is going to work.

Important to remember that Nintendo has a huge business based off of branding and rereleasing the same console with a different look. The official Nintendo branded micro sd card has a lot more of a value to Nintendo buyers then maybe the regular person. If I didn't get such a great deal on a 512 GB sd card when I got my switch, I would have gotten this over the cheaper ones too. Appreciate the post OP.

Skeptical about the fake cards sold at Amazon. (Have been burnt before with Samsung cards) So price matched with Target. It was straightforward.

Sadly, they fixed that issue as businessmen on the ssd expansion for Xbox. We have to buy their name brand and they will deliberately make not work any third party attempt.

Can you data transfer the nintendo switch data from one card to another without issues. If I got a 128gb and then wanted a larger 256gb card, can I just load the two cards into a computer and transfer the files from the smaller card to the larger card?
