Seems like you can have the battery connected and wireless charging on the left side.

But you can't have the battery attached to the dock with a phone on that same battery.

It would not make sense for you not to be able to charge the phone off the battery while its docked and charging, so yes you can.

That being said in for 2, the battery pack by itself with the wireless charging is worth around $20 so its nice to get a clock and 2nd charging spot.

It would make no sense, if that was the case if you were charging your phone it would drain your battery pack, and if you than had to leave and took the battery pack with you, it would be almost completely depleted making it useless.
