Hello All, I recently just noticed my credit card apr went from 11.99 % to 16.74 % gradually over the course of a year. I contacted discover via chat to ask why, ( I obviously know why) but I wanted to see what they would say and if there was any promotions they can offer. 2 years ago I caught this promotion 0% apr for 12 months. I didn't think they would be able to do this again, but they did. this is actually pretty good in my eyes. This is something that you have to chat with them and ask for. I have the basic discover it card and have been with them since 2018 and use this as my main card. Thought it would be good to share. Thanks for reading.

Heads up, I've had big purchases come up a couple times the past 3-4 years that I could have paid in full, but would be much easier to put on a 0% CC. Both times I called up discover and asked if I would be able to get an APR of 0% for a year, and both times they were more than happy to. I dont know if it makes a difference, but I've been with them since 2013 and have very good credit (over 750). The 2 times were a little over a year apart

I've been with Discover for over 20 years and they couldn't offer me any deal. Guess I'll look for another card.

I hope folks are aware that there is a 14 months 0% instead of the 12 months. I would at least ask CS for the 14 months instead of the 12 months. I can see that the 14 months @ 0% has a 5% transfer fee.

THERE IS NO FEE.

This is not a balance transfer offer (which typically has fees).

This is a new purchase offer. There are no fees as long as you pay off the balance before the promotional term is up.

Awesome! I was looking for 0% CC to add my remodeling expenses while I stow away my cash in a 4.75% no penalty CD. This works out perfectly because I already have the Discover IT card. They gave me 0% for 12 months, new purchases begin 04/01/2023 and promo ends 05/01/2024.

I've been a Discover client since 2006 and they said there were no promotions available. I have over 800 credit score. Ridiculous!!
